Measure the size of the window niche, and cut a piece of window screen according to its size, leaving an appropriate allowance to make the hemming at the bottom and sides of the curtain. At the same time make a darker hemming at the top of the curtain to thread the curtain wire. Roll the hem on the bottom and sides and sew securely with a pin, stitch, and denim. Make a darker hem on the top. Set the position on the fabric, mark the four corners with pins, and turn over the fabric to mark the position where the pattern needs to be made.
Pleated tape is pre-pleated to the finished width of the valance. Leave unpleated sections at both ends of the pleated belt, one for the overlap and the other for the turns of the curtain rod. Hang the pleat belt on the installed crossbar and adjust the position of the pleat as necessary. Fold both ends inwards by 1.3 cm. Remove the pleating hook and cut each drapery based on the pleated tape.
Double-fold inwards at the bottom and sides, and sew the seam. Make a mark on the front of the curtain 1.3 cm from the top edge. With the pockets facing up, pin the top edge of the pleat tape along the drape marker line so that the pleat tape overlaps the curtain by 1.3cm, stitching 6mm from the edge of the pleat tape. Fold the pleating tape inside the drapery so that it aligns with the finished upper edge of the drapery, and iron. If marked, sew the bottom and sides of the pleated tape along the lines indicated on the pleated tape. Insert pleat hooks. Work it all the way into the pleats and adjust the pleats between the pleat hooks.
